My name is Garrett Benner, I'm the Vice President of the Honor's Club for Montgomery County Community College. Our Global Cause for this semester is Education. A few teachers at our school, Dr. Emenike Ukazim and his wife Dr. Chidi Ukazim, are in the process of building an Educational Center close to where they lived in Nigeria through the organization "Living Water and Bread Ministries."

"For the past 25 years, Drs. Emenike and Chidi Ukazim have had a vision to build a school near their home in Otampa that would provide a basic and well-rounded education to students in the region so they could expand their knowledge and continue their education by attending virtually any university in the world. Once the ICEC2 is established and operating, their continued vision is to build additional schools in Western Africa to respond to a significant demand for education.
ICEC2 is a place for educating the whole person in a sustainable environment. It is dedicated to maintaining the highest academic standards and opening its doors to all, including those members of the local and regional communities who might otherwise not have the financial means to receive a quality education. Students will learn skills that will enable them to communicate, become self-sustainable, be entrepreneurial, and conduct business with businesses, governments, and organizations around the world. They will learn how to work with their hands, be a friend to the environment, think critically and independently, behave with honor and integrity, and most of all, contribute to the world around them."
Montgomery County Community College Honor's students are helping to raise funds for this Education Center in Nigeria to be created.
