Taking California By Storm

The Augusta Boxing is planning a trip this summer to California on the 1st of August thru the 5th of Augusta for a major Tournament. This will give our boxers an experience of a lifetime. We are a non-profit organization that uses boxing as a tool to steer troubled youth off the streets and into a structured environment that builds confidence, develops self-discipline, instills a strong work ethic and teaches them to integrate and function within a team (critical traits required to succeed as an adult). We are seeking support for thirteen boxers (11 males, 2 female) on our traveling team. The funds would be used to help offset the cost of registration fees for boxers for all and any tournament they attend. Your support will help the boxer, parent, and gym. Augusta Boxing Club want to show our youth that you can do anything if you put your mind to it. We want to be the mentor and/or role model they can look up to or come to for whatever needs they have. We want to make a lifetime impression on our youth and make everlasting memories with our youth. Most of our kids live in a high risk and poverty area and we feel if we have a chance to show them the world is big, we want to take advantage of the opportunity. Many of our parents can’t afford to send their child so we decided to reach out to local businesses to see what we can do.
