burial for young student

My name is Hawk Cramer, and I am an elementary school principal.
Ariel Johnston is a third grader at Cedar Way Elementary, and has battled brain cancer for most of her eight years. The medical expenses have drained the families resources to the point where they are barely hanging on.
Last week, Mom was told Ariel has two weeks to three months to live, and there is no more treatment.
Our school community raised 1,000.00 to help pay bills and a cleaning service to prepare the home for Ariel's last days. This is what our community does.
The grim reality is that mom needs to start thinking about burying her daughter, but she can't because she has no resources. Our community is rallying with food, and smaller expenses, but we need a larger community to help. A funeral costs a minimum of 5,000.00.
She will need this as soon as possible given the few remaining days Ariel has.
What this means to me, to all of us, is the power of a community to lift up a family in crisis - in this case, to help support a mom in burying her beautiful little girl.
What's mean to the mom?
Try to put yourself in her place. Are there words? I simply can't imagine.
Please join our community in supporting Ariel's family - Mom and her 12 year old daughter, as they prepare for the unimaginable.
Thank you, for your thoughts and prayers, and for anything you can spare.
