Michelle Hamilton  SAN CARLOS, CA
This 1 year old hound dog mix was hit by a car on Highway 101, just south of Holly (so we have named her Holly)
She had a pink collar and leash still attached when hit.  The Peninsula Humane Society (PHS) was called and they picked her up and brought her to Northern Peninsula Veterinary Emergency Clinic.  She was treated there and spent the night and then transported to PHS.  "Holly" has been there for a week and no one has come to claim this sweet girl.  We are going to get her out of PHS and back to the Northern Peninsula Emergency clinic for the surgery she needs -he pelvis is fractured in 3 spots.  Her caregivers at PHS says she is wonderful girl who climbs in their laps for attention during her treatments (she is unable to stand)  We are in urgent need of funding to help Holly.  Please help us help her!

Holly is adjusting very well in her new "home" and loves the time she gets to spend outdoors and giving her "mommy" kisses. She sure has come a long way and none of it could of been possible without the help and support of each and every one of you. You are all her angels...and for that we Thank You!

So very sorry to hear about another fracture. Does this fracture require surgery or can it just be set? Hope she does not have to have another surgery. Thank you again for all the updates and looking forward to meeting Holly

Pleas help. She really is a sweet dog. The day after she got to PHS we had to move her out of her kennel and check her out and give her more pain meds. She whined and cried but never showed any aggression even though she was clearly in a lot of pain. She deserves a great life after all this.
