Cooke Bros Backpacking Asia

We are embarking on a momentous journey spanning the length of East Asia for the purpose of venturing out of our comfort zones and fulfilling our will to see the world at a grassroots level. We will step out of the bubble of the United States and the state of Georgia, which has been our beloved home for the entirety of our 20 and 22 years in order to gain an understanding of how the rest of the world lives. Such informative travel will be achieved through travel networks such as Couch Surfing, WWOOFing (World Wide Organization of Organic Farmers), and living in all manner of hostels. Instead of traditional travel that involves all inclusive resorts away from a country's true identity, we the Cooke brothers will be staying in the homes of locals and expatriates alike, as well as sharing rooms in hostels with people from all corners of the world. Working on a farm for the price of a place to sleep and food to eat and week long motorbike trips through the picturesque countryside of Laos will be the norm as we replace the word "vacation" with "adventure".
