Help for Jacob

Jacob was born with a congenital heart defect due to his mother’s immune system attacking his heart in the womb. He had his first pacemaker a 1 day old and a second at 2 months. At 3 years old he went into heart failure and was admitted to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and given a Berlin Heart while on the transplant list. At 4 years he finally got the transplant and all was good until he was 7. He got what was thought to be the flu but turned out to be another ambulance ride to Stanford and heart failure again. He was admitted and put on a ventilator for a few days while they tried to get everything worked out and see what was causing the problem. It was fluid around his heart and lungs. Congestive Heart Failure. He spent just over 4 weeks with his dad by his side having test after test ran and multiple IV’s and biopsy’s. He is being evaluated for a second transplant but He has to regain his strength to be put back on the transplant. During this time his dad was unable to work because as a single parent he had to be at the hospital 24/7 with Jacob. Even with some help from his immediate family he has lost his home and his car. Jacob has to be to Stanford 1-2 times per month and it’s a 2 hour drive from Fairfield where they live. He can’t move up to stay with family in Redding because he has to be with in 3 hours of the hospital at all times. He is in need of funds to find a new place and get his car back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
