Go "Fund" Yourself, Breast Cancer

On April 16, 2015, my best friend and "big sis", Dawn was diagnosed with breast cancer. This came as a complete shock to all of Dawn's family, friends, and co-workers. While we are still working through the breast cancer process and treatment plan, we recognize that the road thus far and ahead over the next year or so will definitely be challenging.

The emotional and financial burden of surviving breast cancer is a challenge for anyone, but at less than 40 years of age, it somehow feels even more unfair that Dawn is having to go through this right now. Dawn is the most caring, funny, generous, sarcastic, bravest, dog-loving friend, daughter, sister,  aunt, and all-around greatest human I have the privilege of knowing. Dawn has always put others ahead of herself, and I am sure you all agree that she deserves and needs our help more than ever right now.
