Julie Bergsten touched so many people during her life. The support from the community for her family has been incredible. Nothing was more important to Julie than her family. Please help support Julie's husband, Jonny Bergsten, during this difficult time by contributing to their children, Ava, Emma and Lukas' college education fund. Jonny will deposit the funds into a personal account to be saved for the children's education.

Dear Jonny, I was deeply saddened by the news of the loss of your wife. I only met her briefly during the inspection of your house but Julie was an immediate presence and once she knew who I was and why I was there was very welcoming and gracious. We have now settled in and love the house, you are truly an amazing builder! Coming from a humble upbringing the house is truly a dream. The structure, layout and placement of the house on the land is really special and I feel deeply grateful for each moment I spend in this beautiful place we now call our home! The day I signed at closing I was overcome with happiness and overwhelming sadness. I had only learned 12 hours prior about your wife. As I begin my journey as a father with a 1 year old and a 3 year old I cannot imagine losing my partner, my wife and my best friend and raising our children on our own. In life we have an opportunity to meet and if we are lucky marry shooting stars. In the very short time we have been in Eagle I see an amazing community of people who are there with you and supporting you and know you and your children are loved. I want to clearly communicate with you our deepest sympathy but also our support in the amazing gift of the life and the legacy you and your children will be carrying on! You and your children are welcome to stop by anytime! If there is a special event like an easter egg hunt, which Julie mentioned to me while I was there for the inspection was a big deal, we would be honored to host. We are new to Eagle and have not completely settled or got our bearings yet but I know in my heart that our family fits the core values this community embraces. Please at your convenience and in your time feel free to call us, we would love to meet you and your children if you are comfortable with that. I have some ability, if things ever get overwhelming and if I can assist you with any of the following please let me know. These are not services I provide professionally. I am happy to: -mow the yard for a week or the season -I can turn on your sprinklers and blow them out and provide repairs -My wife and I love to cook and would be happy to prepare a meal for you and the kids that you could throw in the crock pot or the oven -My wife offered to host an Easter egg hunt -I can aerate, fertilize and keep your yard weed free and green (we do use pesticides or can do organic) -I Take care of your trees and perennials (nutrition and bugs, which I do provide professionally) I am terrible at electric but would be happy to take you out for a beer The shop is available to you and I have a MIG and TIG welder and plasma cutter I know a tragic event takes time and I will feel no offense if you are not ready to meet us or that you don’t need any help at this time. I will be making some modifications to the landscape and would love any input if there are significant trees or plants that you and/or Julie have planted on the property so we can take extra care to preserve them. I hope we can build a friendship, you have my deepest sympathy. Sincerely, Matthew Sadler

My class had raised some monies with a project that we did and they voted to contribute some of the proceeds to your children's education fund.
