Moylin needs your help. Eng Moylin is a 16 year old Cambodian girl who has been through more than most and far to much for someone of that age. She again is unwell and i am pleading for your help.

This is her story:  At the age of 12, Eng moylin  lost her arm from complications relating to  a tumor the size of a golfball on her left bicep. After many years of pain and being turned away from many hospitals (both in Cambodia and Vietnam) she finally recieved two operations to remove the tumor. Sadly on the third attempt and after a 10 hour operation, her arm had to be amputed from the shouder due to lack of blood supply.

Prior to Moylin's illness her father was a successful taxi driver in Siem Reap, even owning his own car, but in their attempt to try and save their daughters arm, they were forced to sell the vehicle (their only asset) to pay for medicines and medical care. This resulted in the family delving into poverty.

Today the family of six lives beside a main highway in a
damaged grass hut, and earn approximately $1 per day.

I got word from Moylin, now 16, last night (25/07/2015) that she had begun to feel very unwell. She had become breathless and had alot of pain in the chest. Her family had borrowed 200USD to get tests done (healthcare is limited and not free in Cambodia). These testshave shown Moylin has a left lung tumor and a pericardial effusion. This needs to be treated urgently.

My family has sent money straight to Moylin to send her to the Capital (Phnom Penh) to seek treatment. She is on the bus as i write. There is a lot of information that we are seeking, including, what kind of tumor, benign or malignant and whether this is treatable. More urgently is the need to treat the effusion that is causing her pain.

In many lucky countries these issues would be seen to almost imediatly and most certainly she would be provided with pain relief and care. Moylin has recieved no assistance so far and has had no money for any form of pain relief.

I know how many people around the world are going through similar cercumstances or worse. This is personal. Moylin is my family. I first met Moylin whilst working as a nurse in her village and we went through so much over the 10 months I lived abroad. We have remained close. I am pleading for you to send me as little as you can afford, a little goes such a long way in Cambodia. So I am doing what i can from here, and im asking for YOUR help.

I will be managing the funds and sending the funds in small amounts to help to fund any tests needed, accomodation in the capital for Moylin and her Mother and food whilst they are away. We will look to seek treatment firstly in Cambodia and if possible in Australia if it is viable.

Lastly, when i told Moylin she needed to travel to Phnom Penh today she replied with this "sister, but i have an exam this week and i really want to attend it". This girl has a heart of gold, an amazing brain and strength that i have never come across from anyone else before. I am begging you to help me help her.
