Tatum's Totes

Donation protected
Elizabeth and Alex Grimes started Tatum's Totes in memory of their son Tatum James Grimes.  Tatum passed away from SIDS May 5th 2013.  They have found comfort in keeping his memory alive in many differrent ways. They have held fundraisers, become foster parents and are very active in the memory garden they have at their home.

Fostering has become a big part of their lives. They have had several children come through their doors and one who will be staying forever. They have seen children enter with little to nothing. Usually a grocery bag with some socks and underwear and maybe a favorite toy.  Every time they get children they try to make their room up with things that they like to make them more comfortable. These children are scared and sad. Sad they are taken away from their parents and scared of these new people they have never met and now have to live with. Elizabeth and Alex along with the communtiy who has been so generous, hope to make this transition a little more easier for these children.

Tatum's Totes will be given to each child entering foster care. It will be their own bag filled with new items that now belong to the child. Blankets, stuffed animals, toys, books and ect. will be what these children bring with them to their foster home instead of a garbage bag filled with who knows what.

Thank you so much everyone for your interest in Tatum's Totes. This will be a continued fund raiser for many years to come!!!
