Saving Charger

Charger the Charmer is in need of your help! He's in dire need of an immediate gastro intestinal surgery to remove a linear blockage.  Six year, United States Army Veteran James Rizzio needs help paying for the cost of this surgery. Charger is his companion and helps with his anxiety/PTSD. Charger is a Rhodesian Ridge/ American Staffordshire mix. James, "Jimmy" rescued him from the Wolcott Dog Pound in Feburary 2014. 14 months later, after settling into a new home Charger and James lost everthing to a structure fire on March 24, 2015( the cause of which is still unknown), destroying abosuletley everything. Derby Fire Department pulled Charger out of the burning building, had to perform CPR and place him on one of their resperators. One of the volunteer firefighters had to go to the hospital as the firefighter suffered smoke inhilation from removing his resperator to place on Charger while they were still in the fire. Charger suffered smoke inhalation and  severve lung damage as well. Charger fully recovered from this incident. It took two months for Jimmy get Charger back in his possesion, since he was displaced due to the fire. Jim is an Honarably Discharged Sergeant who has served two tours in the Middle East and Asia. Jimmy is currently attending Naugatuck Valley Commmunity College, where he is the President of the Veterans' Club, to become a Registered Nurse with the goal of becoming a Flight Nurse. Jimmy has given so much to so many and never asks for anything in return. Lets help him in his time of need.
