LegalTAP.org Scholarship Fund
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Sarah. We (a few of my Legal Tech comrades and I) have joined forces to help raise funds for future LLLT students. Our hope is to reduce the financial burden of the program for a law student and to show support for our nation's first non-attorney licensed legal practitioners.
Show your support for more affordable, more accessible legal help by donating to the LegalTAP.org Scholarship Fund. This scholarship will go to a student dedicated to providing future legal services at a reduced rate or on a sliding scale.
More about LLLTs:
Family Law Legal Technicians (LLLTs) are "trained and licensed to advise and assist people going through divorce, child custody and other family-law matters in Washington. Think of them like nurse-practitioners, who can treat patients and prescribe medication like a doctor. Licensed Legal Techs bring a similar option to the legal world, making legal services more affordable..." WSBA LLLT.
Tuition for one-quarter is $3,750, all paid out of pocket. This program is the first in the country and there currently are no financial aid funds available to Legal Tech Students.
