Nevaeh 's Battle with Bone Cancer
One week before surgery that was scheduled for August 6th ,the oncologist in formed me they found a spot on her lung. They were going to do her surgery only two days after her limb salvage surgery which involves taking out her entire knee and half of her tibia and replace with a metal bone and knee. Surgery went well and but very painfull for her . Her lung surgery was schedualed for today August 8th but she had a fever last night and today and her lungs have fluid from laying down and also from being on tons of pain medications. But all in all she's good.
Threw all if this she has her beads of courage necklace which she so do proud of them because it reminds her of everything she acomplished so far. Shes always thinking of the other children here. She wants to start making beads of life for all the children here in need for some courage with her clay at home !!
Also her favorite activity here is playdough and they have donated their share of playdough to Nevaeh. She wants to donate in return a lot of playdough!!
We also have met a few other families while our time here and she's always asking how everyone is doing! She has such a big heart.
This cancer is rare But my baby is a fighter and we are raising money not just for her but for those she wants to help too!! She does say she wants a nicer car than mom and dad's when she is 16 ! We laugh because shes only 8! She has a extremely long road ahead of her but she stays strong threw all of it.
Please help make my daughters wishes come true by helping her help others! We are fortunate enough and are getting by ok financially so far. So all donations will go to her and other children in the hospital! Giving back is one of the greatest qualities a person can have! So please help out my daughter nevaeh by donating!!
If you are interested ordering Team Nevaeh shirts , keychains or bracelets go Iike her Facebook page Nevaehs Battle with Osteosarcoma and message me!!! Thanks!!

I am so deeply sorry. I wish I had seen my updates sooner to be able to send you love around the time of Nevaeh's passing. Her battle really touched my hear and also, my 8 year old daughter Nevaeh's heart. When we first heard about Your daughter, we were setting up and account for my papaw to help fund things he needed and my grandma for his future treatments and things he needed to make life easier. My daughter donated $20 of her money and wanted to help in some way. The other connection I felt was she started chemo on my birthday and she reminded me so much of my daughter. So strong. She fought hard and was such an inspiration to so many. My heart and prayers go out to you ♥
A true Princess Warrior! Your strength and courage amazed us. Your smile, contagious!
See you later lil Angel.
so sorry to read this. you all have been an inspiration.
Although I did not know Nevaeh I was truly inspired by her. Sending love and light at this sad time.
From the moment I first heard her story I have followed. I am so sorry to hear the news tonight and my prayers go out to the family! I am happy to know she is in a much better place.
My heart breaks as I read this last post, but Nevaeh's strength is an inspiration. I am so sorry.
The courage of Nevaeh and her family are such an inspiration. I have been so impressed with your gusto for life and thoughts of helping others even in the midst of your own struggle. My deepest condolences for your loss. My God bless you and keep you all safe in His arms until you are reunited with Nevaeh in heaven.
We want to give the family our condolences, there are no words to comfort your pain. May she rest in peace. God bless!
Stay strong Amber. Embrace your family and cherish every moment. Saying prayers from a mother's heart to our gracious God! Miele prayers every night for God to put His healing hands on Nevaeh. You and our family are always on our minds and in our hearts. And I am here for you.....c
I am so dearly sorry that your baby girl has to go through all of this. I can't imagine how hard it must be on all of you. I hate cancer!! Keep the faith and know that others are praying for you. God Bless!!
Don't beat yourself up over your initial decision not to amputate. I think the trend is to go with limb salvage and that seems to be the initial push. Our daughter had a limb salvage after being dx with Osteo, then a 2 local recurrences before we finally were advised to amputate. She went with a rotationaplasty but shortly thereafter we found that it had returned in both lungs. She had specific issues with the rotationplasty. She passed away a year later. I play it back. All I can conclude is there is never one right answer; you have to go with your gut. You are dealing with a monster. I tried to make decisions that were based on survival and quality of life. Good luck and best wishes for your daughter and family.
I donated so many months ago...and pray every day for your daughter and family. I'm reading this update and crying myself because I would be crying too...if my daughter was going through what yours is. Sending so many more prayers your way.....
I'm so sorry to hear about your cancer, you are so beautiful and strong and you most certainly don't deserve any of this heart ache! Your just a child , a child shouldn't have to worry about some of the things Nevaeh has struggled with! May god bring you nothing but blessings and happiness! My prayers are with you and your family girl! Your such an inspiration for other children with cancer ...My mother passed away when i was only 17 from lung cancer. They misdiagnosed her in her 3rd trimester thinking it was lung cancer...but than re diagnosed with stomach cancer and than pelvic. She was so strong and had so much more life to live! But god knew he could help her more, an that she didn't have to suffer anymore. I miss her everyday but i have so much faith your in amazing hands with the doctors that care for you! My aunt I came to live with after my mom had passed was just diagnosed with lung cancer. She fought her hardest and she beat it! She still has to do treatments to stop the blood flow to the tumor but she is doing excellent , so i know the hard ache of this terrible illness.. I will pray for you every night because you deserve nothing but happiness!! I know there is light at the end of the tunnel!!
someone needs to get this story to Fox and Friends and get this gofundme going. i think its a shame when a pizza delivery guy gets taken for a 7.00 tip and ends up with over $350,000 in 2 days on gofundme. im heartbroken for this family.
Sounds like things are looking up. So glad to hear you and the doc. have plans. I'm glad you are here in California with the better weather. I'm hoping our warmth will ease some of her pain. Good luck with the treatments. Keep us posted. We care about your precious baby. Peace ofr the Lord be with the family. Eight year olds shouldn't have to hurt like this.
I am so sorry for what you are all going through. But I'm so glad to hear that there's at least something to keep you all hoping. I am also glad you guys can be together during this time. I can't imagine not being with my family while going through what arguably is the worst thing parents could possibly go through. What is more important than family after alI?! I will pray for Neveah and for all of you. May you have continued blessings and keep us updated on Neveah's progress. xxxx
Thanks for the update! Still praying!
A TESTIMONY FROM A PATIENT I never knew cannabis oil was indeed wonderful and very effective in the treatment of cancer “if not by the government and so called rules to regulate cannabis dad would still have been alive. Thanks to the new policy of legalizing cannabis in my state and have even lost my wife’s kidney cancer, and it was really shocked and surprised when I see a lot of documentary on how the cannabis oil had helped many people to whom His family thought they never could do next undergoing several “Chemo” from the department of my heart, and I have to say a word of appreciation to Dr. Gerrard Milner for timely intervention in the lives of my wife suffering from kidney cancer. As I write this testimony in this blog my wife is so strong and healthy even though you have not completed the total dosage “for cannabis and medical consultation opportunity and get in touch with him if you are a cancer patient through their email: (email@example.com) so you can ask for more details
