999 Rescue Team- Nebraska Deployment

Your support helps us support others in need!  We are the 999 Rescue Team and we have deployed during numerous disasters...  Most notably during Hurricanes Florence, Michael, Harvey (back then we didn't have a formal name) and the California wildfires.  Incorporating over 300 different rescue teams from around the country we are an offshoot of the original civilian volunteer movement that started during Harvey.  My team also founded this FB page in an effort to help...

My name is Austin Muhs and I am the head of the 999 team... I live in La but I’m originally from Dallas Tx and we are one of the offshoots of the initial Spontanous civilian volunteers that came in to help during Hurricane Harvey.  

We are raising funds for crews and their gas expenditures.
Funds will be used for...
-gas
-team rescue related expenditures
-emergency food/supply purchases
we have already begun issuing public gas payments to crews via the updates on the fb page and comments etc. The crews are all local rescue boaters/animal evac teams for the most part. They will be getting funds immediately as needed to pay for their expenditures in terms of gas. These crews will be rescuing animals and also delivering supplies. We currently have 14 tons of hay coming in along w many other human supplies... It’s costly to deliver out to the ranches who need it to say the least....  The admins have worked with me for over a year in most cases while the local crews are a bunch of new faces who have been busting their humps for the past 3-4 days! 


  During the Camp fires, we had over 50 crews working and raised about 2-3k which went to gas money and that worked out pretty well. We also bought about [phone redacted] in feed for the local animals...  If you guys wanna contribute we can always put it towards gas cards or the like for future disasters. We are very public about all of our activities and can be monitored at anytime or during any disaster via the zello app via the 999 rescue team page.  We have over 50 part time admins as well who help mastermind the logistical stuff behind the scenes.  

We don't do media (although individual members have made world news and been on daytime talk shows.) We just do our thing...
