Save Natty The One-Eyed Cat
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Katie
This is my 3-year-old, one-eyed-cat Natty.
She only has 24-48 hours to live.
Here is her story...
We adopted Natty about a year ago from the Falls Rd SPCA in Baltimore, MD. She was rescued from a cat hoarding situation in November 2014. She was filthy, had flees, mites, and a severe infection in both eyes. The infection had been untreated for so long that the left eye had to be removed in order to save her life. She was also malnourished her entire life, resulting in her incredibly petite size.
Desite all of this hardship, she is the sweetest, bravest, and most loving cat I have ever known. She's put our 150 lb Great Dane in her place since the day she arrived. And she loves nothing more than cuddling in bed and "wrestling" your hands for more pets. She never bites, scratches or shows any agression to anyone. She just wants to be loved.
And haved I mentioned she has the softest fur ever! :)
As if life hasn't already thrown her enough, she's now facing a fatal bowel obstruction. We have no idea what she could have ingested, but she only has 24-48 hours left to live if the obstruction doesn't pass on it's own or we don't take immediate surgical measures.
The surgery will cost about $5,000.
There is no way my husband and I can afford this right now. We're expecting our first child in September and we simply don't have the money.
Anyone that knows us, knows that we DO take extreme measures for our pets and treat them like our children. It's killing me not be able to save Natty's life on my own.
But I'm also not willing to give up on her withough a fight...
That's why I'm asking for help from ANYONE willing to chip in. Any amount in appreciated. If you can't donate, please just share this page with everyone you know.
In the meantime, my husband and I are also frantically contacting foundations that might be willing to help. Seeing as it's Sunday, we're skeptical.
Please donate, or share this page immediatly. We are running out of time to save Natty's life.
Thank you!!!
