Pay It Forward - The Wagner Restaurant

$18,085 of $25,000 goal

Raised by 176 people in 50 months
The Wagner Restaurant was severely damaged by the recent flooding in Penn Yan, NY.  John Pallar, owner of the Wagner, has consistenly donated his time, his building, and his products to those in need. His equipment, catering truck, and inventory... All gone.

Well, folks, it is time to return the favor.  Let's show Mr. Pallar how much he is appreciated and get this local family business back up and running!

The outpouring of love in this community is undescribable. Our family cannot thank you all enough.

On a positive note....Mr. Pallar is expecting his 3rd grandbaby any moment now! Good luck and best wishes to you, Jessica and Chad!

Opening day was a success and there are so many people to thank. In just one month's span, 176 individuals raised over $18,000 dollars to support your small town, favorite restaurant!!

It has been said many times, but the Wagner could not have opened this quickly without each and every one of you. Please stop in for a visit and let John shake your hand.

Endless Gratitude,

John Pallar & Family

Hello, and hats off to all of you!

This message is to let you know that personal "thank you's" have not been forgotten, but I wanted to wait until John could sit down with me and read all of these remarkable comments. The volunteers, employees, and amazing friends are working diligently to get the Wagner up and running so they can honor the booked parties, receptions, and weddings that are already on the books, as well as have a KICK ASS summer.

My family has truly been touched by the grace of goodness and it will never be forgotten or taken for granted.

Blessings to you and yours... Amanda

Also, as always, please don't forget the others who are suffering.

This is a picture of John with his oldest daughter, Jena (33), and his youngest daughter, Nicolette (12), after hours of clean up.

At one point I looked over and saw both girls fighting tears, as many memories were being tossed into a large dumpster. It was then that I was reminded that The Wagner is the only "normal" that they have ever known.

We want to take this time to say thank you for the donations & time you have contributed - they are what will allow this family to create the new memories that they so desire.

Also, please consider donating to the countless other families/businesses who have also lost their "normal".

I lived and/or worked in Penn Yan for 15 years and spend many happy hours in the Wagner. I stop for breakfast every time I return for a visit--unchanging and unchangingly good!
