Midwest Karate Association - Minneapolis is Moving!
Our time at 913 Plymouth Avenue is coming to an end. However, we have found a fantastic new space just 2 blocks norther at 1200 Plymouth Avenue North! The MKA team and volunteers are hard at work preparing the new space for classes to resume.
In order to provide the best training experience possible, MKA has invested in specialized floors which are not salvageable for the move. We are recreating the floors in the new space, and our reaching out to the community to help fund the move. Donations are also being taken in person. Your donations will help with the following:
- Purchasing the materials for the new floors
- Building out the dressing rooms, waiting area, and office
- Cleaning and preparing the space
- Dumpster and debris removal
Any donation is welcome. The MKA dojo is for everyone to gather, train, and be with friends. Our goal is to make the transition as seamless as possible with no interruption to classes. If you have any questions, let us know [phone redacted].
Donations not used for the 2018 move will go into a fund for future moving costs --The MKA is growing, and our goal is to find a permanent space for the dojo in the next few years!
