Central Middle School Color Guard

I am a Color Guard parent. My daughter has learned an incredible amount of life skills by participating in color guard and I have learned so much by supporting her!
This year was our first year ever at Central Middle School in Riverside CA having a color guard.
Everyone worked so hard but we were limited by funds since we were just starting to implement this program.
The students learn sportsmanship, the meaning of committment and sacrifice, grace and beaty, athleticism and teamwork.
We need equipment, flags, poles, costumes, entry fees, and start up costs.
We are starting our fund raising for the school year in August but want to have at least $250.00 now to reserve out costumes so we can get them made.
Junior High is often an awkward time where young people are trying to find their niche and their way in life. This program will help these students develop as leaders, students, daughters, friends, and citizens.
It has been rewarding and gratifying to see them blossom into such find young women.
I have posted pictures and video of our first season.
We would be so thankful and appreciative of having the opportunity to "step up our game" and compete with even more challenging teams who have much more funding.
