Fight 4 T'Kai

Hello, my name is T'Kai and I am 8 years old. Let me tell you a little bit about my story.
YES IT'S SUMMER! That's what I said eager to get my summer started. I had plans to see my godparents in Georgia in June then come back home in July to hopefully start playing football if my leg was healed. Oh yeah I broke my leg about a month before school ended but that's another story. So about a week after school ended my God brother and sister drove from Georgia to come pick me up. I was excited to leave but not for that drive. In July, I found out that my leg wasn't going to be ready for this football season but I would definitely be ready for next year. I wasn't all the way happy with that but that meant more time to spend with my godparents, so I got over it quick. At the end of July my mouth started hurting to eat, so I told my godparents and they took me to the doctor which they said my molars were growing in and released me. It was becoming more difficult to eat and my face started to swell really bad which concerned my godparents, so they took me to the ER on August 6th. They ran test and got images. One nurse said the same thing as the previous doctor had said about my molars coming in. But there was another nurse that saw something additional and got the doctor's attention. Early morning on August 7th, I was admitted into the Children's Hospital in Savannah, Georgia due to them seeing a mass in my nasal cavity which they believed to be cancerous. At about 2am of August 7th, my mother was about to get the news of her life. My godmother face timed my mother so the doctor's could deliver the news that I had a cancerous mass in my face and it was aggressive. My mother and older brother was on the next flight to Georgia to be by my side. On August 13th, I was finally diagnosed with stage 3 Rhabdomyosarcoma. On August 14th, I received my first chemo treatment. I didn't know what the plan was or what was going on completely but I knew that I did not feel well. I had lost about 20 pounds. On August 17th, I was released from the hospital in Georgia so I could return home to continue my journey. We made it back to Texas on Wednesday August 19th and on August 21st I was having my second chemo treatment but I was now in Texas close to home. My mother was told that she would not be able to work for a year to take care of me because there are no programs that provide assistance in this area. I get chemo treatment weekly but I have to go into the hospital every 3rd round of chemo. Just this week at my chemo treatment the tumor board spoke with my mother and told her that we needed to start radiation treatment sooner than later due to the cancer spreading. Just as I was getting use to and adjusting to this whole chemo thing, now something else. So I have to have a feeding tube put in my belly to prepare me to receive chemo and radiation at the same time for about a month and a half. Due to the side effects of both treatments, the feeding tube will help me keep my weight up because I had started gaining my weight back since my return to Texas.
I want to raise money because my mother is not able to work due to having to take care of me. I have medicines that I have to take that are expensive along with getting chemo and radiation treatment, which the type of radiation that is best for me has to be done in another city, so traveling is required along with hospitalization. And not to mention the medical bills have started rolling in and the insurance only pays so much. Due to my mother having leave on her books right now at work, I am able to have insurance but I know it will not last forever so I am reaching out for assistance to help me help my mom take care of me. Thank you in advance and God Bless.
