Crafty Spoons for Chronic Illness

My name is Jenn, and I suffer from four debilitating chronic illnesses: Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Endometriosis, and Interstitial Cystitis. I've been blessed to have an amazing support system of friends and family, but this isn't always the case for other illness fighters. 

This project is a show of support for those who are suffering from chronic (long-term) illnesses. We connect through the term and hashtag, Spoonie, which is based off of Christine Miserandino's The Spoon Theory (read her amazing story HERE ). Many spoonies battling various chronic illnesses have lost their friends, family members, and don't receive the same support I have been so lucky to have.

As it is right now, I'm creating Crafty Spoons for Spoonies, that are unique to them. I'm sending these off for free, since I really don't want to charge people for a piece of happy mail. On the downside of this, I don't have any health insurance, and unable to work, so every bit of money I have goes to doctor appointments and medications.

This brings me here: I'm asking for some donations to keep this project running. 100% of the donations will go to crafting supplies and postage costs, to keep this all free to spoonies. This is an international project, so feel free to email me with the contact link I'll provide, if you are a spoonie who wants a crafty spoon. Just include your mailing address, and some things you love (favorite color, reading, writing, music, penguins, colored pencils, pasta, etc)
