David Rivera “Finish The Fight” #DDSTRONG

As many of you know, our son David Rivera was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor on October 2018. He is only 19 years old. He had a brain biopsy that determined the tumor is cancerous. . He has been undergoing chemotherapy and radiation since December at M. D. Anderson in Houston TX where we had to relocate. He had an emergency surgery this past Friday to alleviate the pressure in his head. A shunt was located to drain the liquid into his abdomen. His vision has been greatly affected. He has been through so much in a short amount of time! We are almost done with the therapy and we need your help one more time.
He will be offered clinical trials a month after the therapy is over. Since the trials are experimental in nature, insurance does not cover them and the costs for them are exorbitant and that is why I am turning to those of you who know him for help. David is a beacon of light and hope for anyone who has the pleasure of knowing him because to know him is to love him. He is incredibly selfless in nature and serves as a continual reminder of all that is good in the world. David graduated from J B Alexander this past year with honors and was a 4 sport Varsity athlete. He was also WBCA’s Princess Pocahontas Chief for 2018, but even more significantly, he is a wonderful human being and son. I have stopped working completely to be with him. My husband has had to juggle work and travel. We have had to seperate from our 2 daughters as well. It has been very hard, but we remain strong in faith that David will be triumphant. Any help that you can provide for our son will be appreciated beyond measure.
GOD BLESS YOU!
