Losing an Angel

On the night of January 12th, 2019, at approximately 8:00p.m., Kevin Berry and his Wife, Taylor, were traveling down Brown Road in Upper Marlboro, MD when a car traveling at a high rate of speed, crossed the double yellow lines and collided with their vehicle head on. The Driver of the Vehicle that crossed the double yellow lines and crashed into the Berry’s Vehicle was driving while intoxicated. Both Driver’s to include Mrs. Berry who was 8-1/2 months Pregnant at the time, were all transported to Prince George’s Hospital Center where they were treated for their injuries. Mrs. Berry underwent an emergency C-Section and unfortunately, their Daughter was lifeless due to the decelerated impact of the earlier crash and trauma sustained due to the impact. Mrs. Berry has undergone several surgeries to stop internal bleeding and repair a broken pelvis and other broken bones throughout her body. Kevin sustained minor injuries and was released the same night. However, he remains by his Wife’s side while she recovers and is still being aided by a form of life support in the Intensive Care Unit at the Prince George’s Hospital Center. I am raising money for the Berry family to help sustain them financially through this tough time. Kevin is the sole provider and will not leave Taylor’s side until she is stable. Any amount of money is greatly appreciated and will be such a blessing to these two amazing people who lost a child due to the negligence of another. Nothing will bring her back but the Berry’s are in need of some financial support after this tragic accident and the aftermath which they continue to deal with on a daily basis.
