The Dzara family suffered a tragic loss December 21, 2015. Their beloved daughter, Faith Dzara, was murdered in her home early Tuesday morning.
Fred and Penny have opened their hearts and horse farm to me and several other girls. We wanted to do something to help this amazing family out. Ashley G, Teri E, Ashley P, Lauren S, and Kaylie M decided to create this account for friends to pitch in and help with expenses during this terrible time.
The Dzara family is well known throughout the horse community around Edinboro, PA. They are very loving and caring people. They are the first ones to help someone in need. They have "rescued" myself and the other girls at the farm in some way or another. We cannot express how thankful we are to have these people in our lives.
Faith was no different. She welcomed everyone with loving arms. She was a sweet, caring, beautiful person. After graduating from Edinboro University she decided to move to Colorado. Faith had been successfully living there for a few years. It was a complete shock to everyone when we found out she had been murdered. A time meant for warmth, laughter, and family is now a time of sadness, grieving, and hurt.
As a way to reach out and help this loving family and for all the friends who want to help but don’t know how, we hope you take the time to share this post. Instead of spending Christmas with family enjoying the holiday the Dzara’s now have to drive to Colorado Christmas Eve to pick up Faith’s horses and belongings. We would like to raise money to help them pay for the cost of traveling to Colorado as well as funeral costs. We are grateful for any amount raised.
