The tragic and sudden loss of Nathan has prompted us to set up a fund to help Eliza take care of the current costs of running the Hill Hollow Farm, completing her and Nathan's cabin, and covering his final expenses. As many of you know, Nathan was passionate about living his dream. For several years he has been working tirelessly to create a sustainable and profitable living as a farmer, and we would like to make it possible for Eliza to continue their work in building a story of success. Nathan and Eliza are the proud parents of Mathilda Marie, and were very excited by the prospect of welcoming a second child to the family in September. Please consider lending your support for this young family as every little bit helps. If you'd like to learn more about the Hill Hollow Farm you can visit http://www.hillhollow-farm.com/ . Thank you, in advance, for your support.

"I have never met Nathan and I had never heard of the farm before today -- but I am inspired by people who pursue dreams despite their outlandishness and despite the adversities that come with taking risks. It's quite moving." This was a comment left by one of our donors and I think about it all the time. I am amazed by the effects we can have on people we don't even know, and I am so glad that Nathan is continuing to inspire people!

Update 4

On April 30, we decided to start the Nathan Winters Memorial Fund with the goal of raising $20,000. By May 1st we had surpassed our goal by thousands of dollars. At the suggestion of a donor, I have reset our goal twice as high. There seems to be no limit on the number of people Nathan touched or helped and who mow want to help his family. We deeply appreciate the support that has been given and we know Eliza will be able to put it to good use on the farm and in her home and for her babies. Thank you so much for all of your love, prayers, and generous spirits!

Thank you so much! This outpouring of support is truly amazing and such a testament to the kind of person Nathan was! As many of you have noted, he was an inspiring man who made an impact. It is clear that he is still making an impact through all of you. Thank you again for helping us reach our goal and continuing to give!
