Do you know Candy at the center of Marshfield who pumps gas, works at the laundromat and collects scrap metal just to survive?
I'm raising money for her and know there are lots and lots of Marshfield people who know her. Her truck needs new tires, waterpump, and all new electrical.
She missed her appointment at the doctors office by 9 minutes the other day and they wouldn't take her. So now she has to pay out of pocket for some very expensive medications. She has no money and that's why she collects scrap metal - to eek out a meager existence.
Her life partner passed away a few years ago and they weren't married so there are no social security checks coming in. She has nothing - literally.
Think about it-let's help another terrific and deserving Marshfield resident. Even $10 can help. I just don't know what else to do here. I've known her for almost 25 years. Every time I go there, she's more hunched over, in more pain and can barely get from one car to another. She needs our help. Let's do this Marshfield - she needs our help.
