S.T.A.F.F Animal Shelter DNR Fix

We need your help to raise enough money to correct a major problem we are having with our Shelter waste disposal system.  We currently have a waste treatment plant on site at the shelter and have been in compliance with Department of Natural Resources specification until recently.  

As as you can imagine because we house dogs and cats we have a lot of animal waste (urine specifically) which creates ammonia in our sewage plant.  The ammonia levels allowed by the DNR have been reduced each year to the point that no matter what we do now we can never meet the requirements.  Therefore we must change our septic system dramatically or face very large fines and even a possible shutdown.

We have spent months researching and working with engineers and waste plant specialists to come up with a plan that will solve the problem and have finally reached a conclusion that will eliminate the ammonia and release us from DNR oversite.  We need your help to raise the funds to put this plan into action.  Without your help we will have to mortgage our buildings to do this...  Thank you for any financial help you can offer!  Every dollar makes a difference...
