Izzy is a wonderful non binary trans-fem person who is unfortunately struggling immensely with dysphoria. They have been waiting to see a NHS gender specialist for almost a year and still have long to go.
One of the hardest things for Izzy to deal with is their facial hair. It grows in seemingly faster and faster and causes depression and anxiety alongside dysphoria. There are sores on their face and neck areas almost constantly from how often they shave, and they can’t find a hair removal method that works.
Izzy has been considering laser hair removal for several months now however cost has been a major issue, and the anxiety of attending a clinic hasn’t helped. They found a great trans friendly clinic about a month ago and have arranged a consultation to see what steps can be taken.
Now, they need your help. The cost of the treatment is currently thought to be £715, which is a 30% reduction. At the consultation this price will be confirmed, but it’s unlikely to be less. This is for a full course of laser hair removal on the face, which will alleviate massive amounts of pain and suffering that Izzy has to experience every day.
