Help John Ennis With Medical Bills

John had an accident on Saturday night that required Mercy Flight from his house in Canandaigua to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. At Strong, his emergency surgery required amputation of his right hand (unfortunately, his dominant hand). He will be all right and will likely be released from the hospital late in the week of September 17th.
On top of the costs of the surgery and Mercy Flight (which is often not covered by insurance) John will likely need some modifications to his house and property to adjust to having only his left hand. It is likely that he will need physical therapy for some weeks after he is healed up as well.
Even though John is one of the most capable, resourceful, and driven people I've ever met, he lives alone, and there are certainly going to be other significant challenges for him to find solutions to. These funds would be used to help John pay for his medical bills and, if any is left over, some specialized items to make his life a little more normal.
Some of the specialized items include a cutting boards with clamps to hold items steady, special plates and bowls, silverware, electric can openers, clamps to hold jars to open them, and many other tools to help him do something as minor as buttoning his shirt.
Anyone who has ever known John knows that he is constantly making people around him laugh and he would do anything just to be helpful to everyone. One thing I can promise you is that he is a lifelong friend that everyone is lucky to have and everyone definitely has a story or a memory with John that will make them smile forever. This is a perfect time to say thank you and help him get back on his feet.
