Six years ago, after much prayer & a major step of faith, I relocated to Cork, Ireland as a missionary.
It has been an eye opener for me as I come from a country with so much Gospel input to a place that has very little understanding of the things of the Lord. I was ordained in 2017 by my home church in Branson, Missouri USA & God has been using me in many ways over here at Cork Church as I serve as the Children’s minister working with ages 5-12 year olds. Additionally, I serve on the Youth & Young Adult leadership team & I design/run the online media for all the ministries. I'm also the Director of Communications & Media for Feed Cork Food Bank that feeds over 300 individuals/families each week. Not only has God been using me locally but also He has been using me nationally; whether it is the National Women Conferences, National Youth Conferences, National Family Summer Conferences where thousands of people come from all over or travelling up the country to speak at other events. I know that seems like a lot but the words of the Saviour ring loud here in the South of Ireland,
“The harvest is white but the laborers are few “
Some facts about the Republic of Ireland:
-Less than 1% are Christians
-They have never seen a revival, so the Gospel input is so little
-They are the least evangelised English speaking nation in the world
Most people don't see Ireland as a mission field but let me tell you...
it's need for Jesus & the Good New is HUGE!
I am so thankful for the continually encouragement & financial support from the people at Cork Church, my church in Branson, MO & from my family. I ask you to pray: for me (finances, safety, everyday needs, etc) & for Ireland as a whole as it needs a touch from God.
