Helping the Hughes Family

This is Emily and her family.  She is a loving wife of Darin and mother of three boys ages 6, 10, and 12.  She is currently battling a rare form of uterine cancer called endometrial stromal sarcoma.  Together, we can help support them through this difficult time.

     Emily is no stranger to the medical world.  All three of her boys were treated at Riley’s Children’s Hospital, and Emily also works at the Riley’s Children’s Foundation.  Her family has given back to others by running 5k and ½ marathons, hosting lemonade stands, and doing garage sales. Emily and her oldest son have even donated their hair a total of four times for cancer patients.  

     Emily has been hospitalized multiple times the past few months.  She is currently receiving chemotherapy treatments and on medical leave while battling this rare cancer.  The money raised from this campaign will be spent on helping with the burden of high medical bills.
