Sadaqah jaariyah for Muldhata Dawud

Asalamualaykum wr wb, a young brother of ours, Muldhata Dawud in from our community has passed away due to a drive by shooting, he got shot in the heart and was killed instantly, July 30th at 1am, he was only 20 years old and he lost his life at such a young age, in such a horrific way. He was always smiling and had a beautiful heart when it came to others and the deen, he was the biggest jokster and always clowning, his family is going through an extremely tough time because of their loss and loosing their son is one thing but to a shooting is another, which will definitely take a lot to come to terms with. But Allah swt doesn't grant his servant a test harder than they can bear and inshallah they will get through this, but one beautiful and amazing thing about this deen is that we can give Sadaqah jaariyah on behalf of someone that has passed away, so it may benefit them in their grave and their ahkirah.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "When a person dies, all his deeds come to an end except three: sadaqah jaariyah (ongoing charity, e.g. a waqf or endowment), beneficial knowledge (which he has left behind), or a righteous child who will pray for him." (Reported by al-Tirmidhi, no 1376; he said this is a saheeh hasan hadeeth)
This is the least we can do for our brother Muldhata and his family, and imagine how much of a difference this will make towards his bank of good deeds. If we donated on his behalf to a cause that'll be on going for forever, may Allah grant this to be successful and 1$, 20$, 100$, anything can help.
May Allah swt grant him jannah, forgive his sins, widen his grave and
brighten it for him, allow it be a place
of comfort and not punishment, may Allah swt, allow him to see his place of paradise in his grave and may Allah swt allow him to be smiling in his meeting with Allah. May he reunite him and his family in al firdaws Al ala, and allow this to be his ticket way to jannah!

What we plan on doing is being creative in the cases we will be donating to, to make it more lasting inshallah, and ongoing till the day of judgement. We plan on making wells in his name, feeding the poor, sponsoring masjids, clothing the less fortunate and buying kitabs for children back home so he can get reward for every letter they read, and much more iA! May Allah accept and bless it!
