Hope and Support for Jay

Jay is THE best man I know. He is the type of person who would give his shirt off his back even if it was all he had left to give. Jay recently had a tumor on his leg and needed surgery to remove it. When the doctors ran tests prior they found fluid surrounding his heart. Since then he has been in and out of the hospital. Many times they do not have answers for him and it has left his family with many questions and concerns. Recently he underwent surgery on his heart and returned home about a week ago. This Tuesday his wife watched him go unconscious and she preceded to do CPR on him until the ambulance came. He is currently in the hospital with his kidneys shutting down. He has been unresponsive since he arrived and the doctors are currently doing testing to see the state his brain is in after not receiving oxygen for so long. Jay is a fighter and he is stubborn as hell (one of the things we love most about him). We know he has so much left in him. With all the return visits to the hospital, caring for three children, and both Jay and Becca having to take off work so frequently we wanted to start this page in order to help them. I as well as many others cannot imagine life without Jay in it. We want him to receive the best treatment possible at whatever cost that may be. He is someone who puts everyone else before him, he is always keeping everyone else’s spirits high even when his aren’t. He never wants anyone to worry and is constantly offering a helping hand to those in need. He has made such a difference in the lives around him and I can’t stress enough how much he means to us. He has so much to do in this world still including watching his son and two daughters grow up, spending more time with his wife, and shedding his warm heart on the rest of the world.
