Hurricane Michael Relief

Donation protected
Three weeks ago, my hometown, Blountstown, FL, was completed destroyed by Hurricane Michael.  Pretty much all of my family is from there.  Some of my family members lost everything, but they are all alive and that's what matters.  It's heartbreaking, devastating, and humbling all at the same time.  People are working together to survive.  FEMA is helping, but denying a lot of claims. And, what they are approving just isn't enough.  I've been asked by several people to set up a go fund me.  My family would never ask for help or a hand out, so I had not set one up yet.  We always think that no matter how bad we have it, there is always someone else who has it worse.  And, even though they lost so much, we still have each other.  But, this is no ordinary circumstance.  What do they need....everything....food, water, clothing, household items....everything.  I don't think people understand when people say they lost everything, it really means everything.  They are searching through destroyed homes for things like kids toys hoping to save what little bit they can.  Anything would be appreciated.  They are on day 22 without power.  Thankfully, some have generators to run the basics and can get showers.  But, even that comes at a cost.  Gas is needed to run those and the chainsaws to clear the trees off the homes and roads to get to the homes.  Any kind of help is help...food donations, monetary donations, clothing, bedding....if one person can't use it, there is certainly someone else that can and my Mama will make sure it gets to them.  If you want to send gift cards, those are also appreciated.  If you want to send something via Amazon to save shipping costs, that would be great, too.  I can provide you the address in a separate email.  My email is [email redacted].  Thank you so much for even thinking of my family during this time of need.

Above all, prayers are requested.  Please add them to your prayer lists.
