Sebastian needs your help

I rescued Sebastian in the summer from a rescue in Virginia. As soon as I saw his picture online, I knew that I had to have him. I fell in love with him and how goofy/smart he really was. He is now 8 months old and still the same puppy I got at 8 weeks old.
Two nights ago, I came home from work to find Sebastian shaking, immobile, and very pale gums. This was very unlike him as he always has the energy of a Dalmatian. I rushed him to the closet ER which was an hour and a half away. We found out that night that he got into rat poison and they were going to try their best to do everything possible.
The vet found bruises around his legs where his blood platelets were very low.. his blood was not clotting.
They immediately started IV fluid and began to run tests. The tests showed that he was slightly anemic and his clotting numbers were extremely high. The vet explained to me that she needed to start a plasma transfusion as soon as possible as he was losing blood.
After the vet finished everything she could possibly do, she explained to us that he should recover and be back to himself in around a week. She explained that he needed to go to a local vet the next day in order to be monitored in case something did happen. Sebastian is now home and very weak, but doing so much better. In a week, he has to have a check up and more tests to see if everything is in the normal range.
I'm sure after reading this, you know that a plasma transfusion, his medication (for a month), and lab tests add up.
