I'm starting this Go Fund me page because this young man that was shot is my dear friends son. She is a great person and has been by Jeremy's side since the night he was shot. Please lets help Jeremy as he will not be able to go back to work for a long time if at all.
Jeremy is 21 and working hard to be on his own and not depend on anyone. He was suppose to be off on Halloween night but his boss at Papa John's needed an extra hand so Jeremy had no problem saying yes and went right into work. Papa John's was robbed that night and Jeremy was shot in the back of the head. He was taken by ambulance to Christ Hospital were he was conscious but in severe pain. He has a severe brain bleed and the pain is a migraine X 1000. Jeremy just screams and cries out because the pain is so intense. Here is a little bit about Jeremy. His whole life he has been fighting the odds of Asperger's which is a spectrum of Autism. He has good and bad days but refused to let this disability control his life. As a child the doctor's said he would not be able to work or live on his own, well Jeremy proved them wrong. He has his own apartment and a job. Jeremy has battled through depression because of this disease but still hasn't given up. Some cruel people in a matter of moments has nearly taken his life and all of the things he's worked to accomplish. Jeremy is still fighting along with his family (especially him mom) and friends. He will get through this struggle as he had others. Jeremy is a fighter but right now his biggest battle is financially. With brain bleeds the doctor's cannot say how long he will be in intense pain so he can't work or drive. I'm asking for financial help so Jeremy can keep his apartment, car and pay his bills. After all that Jeremy has been through he doesn't wish any ill will on the cowards that shot him. He has to focus on himself.
