Our dear friend Kevin Mansker has just went through his 3rd spinal surgery this Wednesday 8/14/19. This surgery entailed the T7 vertebra being partially removed and reshaped as well as new hardware being “installed” in T4-T10. This step promises to be the final step in the healing journey Kevin started after last March’s mountain biking accident; that left him with a broken back.
As he looks into this next step of the healing journey with hope, it does not come without its mountain of stresses. This surgery; while it will be quite beneficial, will come with a long road to recovery. This is where we look for our family and friends for help. As Kev will be unable to work for at least a year as the spine heals itself; it’ll take the love of others and community to aid him along his recovery.
