Physical Therapy Services

I am in the physical therapy profession and see a disturbing trend in our field and our society.   I decided in my mid 30's that my purpose on this earth is to help and serve others , and therapy was my way of accomplishing this life changing need. I have quickly realized the ugly side of the medical field is insurance and money driven, which I already knew, but not to the extent I have witnessed in the last 2 years. I work in skilled nursing facilities and have seen many Grandmothers, Grandfathers, daughters, and sons be dropped from therapy services before they were ready to safely return home.  Many times these patients return to the facility because of accidents that could have been prevented if they were allowed to complete their therapy to achieve their maximum potential. I have found the need for individuals to continue physical therapy  services at a price they can afford or if they cannot, absolutely free!  I am starting a physical therapy gym that does not involve insurance or other profit driven companies for the benefit of our community's needs. I will personally be involved with operations and decisions to be made that benefit our clients and not affiliated with any organizations that do not share this core value. I will establish other avenues of involvement within the community to help us all live in a safer and happier existence. My company will be the most transparent, as I believe in truth and have nothing to hide. 
I am trying to establish this vision as a reality as soon as possible, because I know there is already a need, and with new laws emerging, this will only increase, not decrease. Our families need a light in this storm of uncertainty, and I plan on this organization to be that light to lead them home.
