We finally received an official letter on Shriners letterhead to approach the US government for visas for the boy and his guardian.  At this point we need funds to bring eight burned children from Iran to USA for reconstructive surgery donated by Shriners.  
This is NOT a political or religious campaign but a purely humanitarian cause which has nothing to do with the Iranian regime or the US government. 

The children shown in the video were burned during an accidental fire at their school. The entire story can be read on their blog posts on their website  and on Facebook . Their story has been shared on ABC news  local station.  The list of needs can be seen on this video Skype.  

These children have burns all over their bodies. Some have no lips, no fingers, no nose, no eye lashes and the faces of a fifty year old person despite being only teenagers.

The estimated $50,000 cost for the first boy and his guardian father includes flight, lodging, travel, provisions, and incidental needs that may arise while they are in the US.

It important for you as a donor to know that we must gather our funds before we can obtain visas and arrange lodging in Houston or Galveston, TX.

Unfortunately, bringing an Iranian child from Iran to the US is not as easy as, say, bringing an African or Chinese burn victim due to current political issues between the two countries.

We will not cash funds in this account until we need to pay for their flights or other expenses. After that, a list of all expenses will be updated on this site so you will know what we have done with your funds.

As an executive of a non-profit organization since 2006, I have proven that my word is my bond. I will furnish those who give a significant amount a copy of our Form 990 (Tax Return) so they can see what their funds have been used for. 

If you are contributing a large amount, we will be pleased to furnish an expenditure list to review every quarter.
