There are HUNDREDS of kids here in Bingerville, West Africa walking the streets barefoot. We see them every day. Some walk miles each day just to get to school.
Worse, people use these streets to throw out their trash, waste, and hazardous materials. Walking barefoot can lead to infection, parasites, and disease.
Seeing this up close has pushed Abe and I to partner with the local church here and run a shoe event. It's just $1 to buy a pair of shoes here, so we're aiming for at least 500 pairs. If we get twice that, great! Kids will be invited out from the surrounding villages to the church property where they'll have their feet washed and sized for a brand new pair of shoes. Most importantly, they'll hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We're asking you to think about jumping in on this. At least think about giving $1! Here, that's enough to buy a pair of shoes for a child.

Thank you all for your donations and encouragement! We're calling this campaign a wrap since we've hit well beyond our goal! We'll be picking up shoes by the truckload and prepping for the big shoe event on March 23. We'll keep you all in the loop with this and we appreciate your prayers for all the kids who will be coming out!
