Breast Cancer Reconstruction

I had a double mastectomy in December 2017 due to triple negative breast cancer (Merry Christmas to me!) and finished chemotherapy in July. I'll be having reconstruction the end of September 2018. 


Sooooooo ... here's why I need help ... I'm a massage therapist with a private practice and have been working less than usual during the mastectomy and chemotherapy treatments.  As a business owner I don't have any income if I don't work ... and after the reconstruction surgery I will not be able to work for five weeks while I heal, but I will still have regular bills, medical bills, and rent to pay.

This is a situation I did not think I would ever be in, and until you go through it you don't realize how daunting it is. I'm a very positive person but I'm a bit of a deer in the headlights these days. Losing your hair, boobs, and eyelashes makes you feel like a very unattractive and mangled alien. I'm VERY happy the cancer is gone but getting my breasts back will make me feel whole again.
