Hello, my name is Lorena Fernandez de Fonseca. My son, Jann Fonseca, is a special needs kid who has been battling Lyme disease since 2010. The crippling disease has robbed Jann of his ability to walk, and he often has bouts of extreme pain that prevent him from a carefree childhood of wonder and laughter.

 

There is, however, a glimmer of hope for Jann, and it comes in the form of cutting-edge treatment for Lyme disease that has produced extremely promising results in test trials. Jann is the perfect candidate, but since the treatment is still in trials it is not covered by health insurance.

 

Having exhausted our savings on medical bills, we are sincerely asking for your help to raise $36,000 for Jann’s treatment. Any donation, big or small, will put us closer to Jann finding relief, and to the advancement of this research for thousands of others afflicted with Lyme Disease.

 

If you could look into his eyes, you would see the soul of a warrior, the most tender and generous heart, and the curiosity of a child longing to live life fully, as God intended for him. Jann is the light of my life and the reason that keeps me going.
