Life Saving Surgery for Bella

First of all, let me thank you for visiting Bella's page. We recently found ourselves in quite a hard place when it comes to Bella's health, and as most of you know, she is family... so we are asking for help.
We are the proud owners of Bella Todd: a 6 yr old American Staffordshire Terrier, or Pit Bull. She has been by her mom Ariel's side since she was a puppy and has been the best companion she could ever ask for. She has served us as a therapy dog in many ways... Bella is a special dog and we recently experienced quite a scare with Bella.
Bella was diagnosed with Pyometra on Saturday, May 6th. We rushed her to the vet that morning and we were told she needed surgery ASAP. Pyometra is a condition that means there is bacteria in her cervix. She was very, very sick.
If you know Bella's parents, you will know that one of her mom's has been very sick for a few months and all extra money has gone to her healthcare, so we are in a rough spot.
After going to the vet, we were referred to an emergency hospital. They quoted us $3,000 to do the surgery. We didn't have that much money, so we had to settle for taking Bella home with some antibiotics.
Saturday and Sunday were really scary, we thought Bella was going to leave us at any moment.... we spent every dime we had on the vet visits, x-rays, and antibiotics for her, and we didn't know where to turn.
Luckily, Monday morning, the amazing Dr. Pennington at the Veterinary Clinic of Myrtle Beach took Bella into surgery without a deposit. She has been such an incredible blessing to us.
Bella is in recovery and is doing really well. She was very sick, so it will take her a while to bounce back, but she should heal up just fine.
This being said, we still need some help funding the cost of Bella's surgery.
The money that is donated will go directly to Bella's bills, and if there is any money left over, we will donate those funds to the Veterinary Clinic that saved Bella'a life, The Veterinary Clinic of Myrtle Beach.
