Hi Everyone!

My name is Anatolii Shostak and I live in Calgary, Alberta. My tel [phone redacted]

The story is very sad. A very good friend of mine came to work in Saskatchewan, Canada in October 2017 on work permit for a dairy farm and everything was going just perfect till January 30th 2018. In that morning he was milking cows at the farm and at noon was sent to the other farm to help around which was just 2 km away from the first one. He left the first farm but never made it to the other one. At 1.00 pm someone from the first farm received a phone call with a question "where is Sergii?" (this is the name of my friend)? One the employees whose name is Jorn went to look for Sergii around but could not find him. About 40-60 min after Sergii was found in a water canal 6 meters deep. It looked like the car fell down there with Sergii inside. When Sergii was  found he was sitting inside the car unconscious. The car did not have huge damages but my friend had blood coming out of his ears, nose and mouse. His skull was cracked. The left side window was knocked down obviously with his head so that caused his brain damaged and bleeding. Only God and Sergii know what was the reason for this accident (later doctors will assume that he most likely had a stroke in his brain at the moment of driving which caused him to lose consciousness). Ambulance came immediately as well as police. Sergii was taken to ICU of Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon by Helicopter.

Sergii is in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) bed #14 in a very very bad condition. His wife Nelia  came in Canada on February 10th.  All of us- Nelia, his employer family, coworkers, friends both Canadian and Ukrainians, doctors and I are trying to do all possible to help Sergii to survive.
Sergii came to Canada to make money for his family but instead a terrible thing happened. He has a wife and two daughters of 14 and 6 years old. Sergii is 38. Right now all those medical hoses that are conected to his stomach, lungs and other of his inner organs for the purpose of supporting his life are irritating everything inside.  They must be pulled out as soon as possible in order to avoid bad consequences like neumonia etc. Instead a surgery needs to be done in the soonest future so Segrii could be fed through a hole in his belly, breath through a hole in his chest as well as all other life functions must be performed through the local connections to his body. The doctors say even if Sergii survives he will never return to normal live but spend rest of his life in bed never be awake.
All the money will be wired through ATB bank to his wife's bank account in Ukraine so she can use it for any necessary upcoming expenses. Some cash that people donate for Sergii's wife is used for her staying in Canada. A very complicated decision needs to be made by Nelia in a few days. The ICU personnel must obtain her consent to unplug life supporting machine. (Today, Feb 14th, the machine was unplugged. An hour later Sergii’s heart stopped beating). We are still asking you to pray for everyone in this situation, so the Lord strengthen our hearts. Also, we know for sure there is no extra dollar in this situation. Thank you all for your financial support as well.
