A helping hand

This isn't something I like to do, but I find myself in a tight spot and am just looking for a little help.

I managed to get a job before Xmas in retail, and all was going well until Feb when due to  health issue causing me tremendous pain on a daily basis I found myself unable to work. As a new and temp employee I was denied company sick pay. Then I was sent a letter telling me I wouldn't be receiving statutory sick pay either.

Because I have a job, I don't qualify for benefits or free prescriptions, and if I quit my job I am exempt from these services too for 6 months.

So I find myself in a position where I have absolutely no income, and will not be able to buy the medication needed to get better, or my current medications for hormones and antidepressants. I can't quit as that wouldn't get me anywhere at all. The government seems happy to let me die. My only way out is to get fired, but until the company decides to do so I am struggling to manage on the meagre savings left to me, which won't last much longer.

I know it's hard for people all round, but if anyone can find it in their hearts to help out, it would be massively appreciated.
