Teen Books for Summer Classrooms!

This summer, Teach for America- Oklahoma will welcome almost 200 brand new teachers who will be trained at our regional  "institute" in Oklahoma City. Clasroom libraries are central to our vision for building a strong culture in middle and high school English classrooms. These libraries will serve us in two ways: not only will they provide awesome reading experiences for kids in June and July, but also they will travel with teachers to their fall placement classrooms in Tulsa, OKC, Lawton, and Muskogee. Help us reach our goal of $5000 so that we can purchase engaging and culturally-responsive books that will ingnite a fire for reading in our adolescent kids.
