Seth Jefferds Mudslide Recovery Fund

$57,506 of $100k goal

Raised by 612 people in 30 months
Seth is a volunteer firefighter for the Oso fire department in Washington State and is also one of the most decent people you could ever meet. He has given countless hours of his time helping, protecting and serving his community. He lost everything including his wife, 4 month old granddaughter, and his house in the Oso landslide on Saturday March 22nd 2014. Seth is very deserving of our assistance in recovering from this tragedy.
Please help with any donations no matter how large or small.
Thank you very much!

My wife and I came across the Viking hall pancake fundraiser this past weekend. The sense of community was amazing. I was proud to be amongst so many great people, all banding together for a single cause. It was a moving and touching experience. It was an honor to spend even a brief time in a community that epitomizes the words "Oso Strong". This community has touched lives beyond anything you could possibly imagine. Thank you for demonstrating goodness to your neighbors. Thank you for putting others needs before your own. Thank you for letting us experience what a town of 300 can accomplish together.

Even though you don't know me Seth, I remember hearing your story two years ago about the loss of your wife Christina and your baby grand-daughter Senoah in the landslide. When I saw today marked two years since the tragedy, my mind was instantly with you and your daughter Natasha, as well as all the others who have been affected by this terrible disaster. We're still thinking about everyone.

Seth, You probably don't remember me for when I worked at TCI Cable back in the days but you were one of my customers who loved to fish the Stilly. You brought me a fresh salmon one day and you have no idea what that did for me and my Daughter. I couldn't thank you enough for that meal. I've never forgotten that or you. We are so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort and peace in the days ahead. God be with you and your family.
