Helping with medical expenses

On Monday October 15th, at approximately 08:45 PM, a dear friend was injured during a random act of violence while at his home in the Clement community in rural Sampson County, NC. Our friend, who is a brother to me, was shot once in the face, while attempting to help another individual at his home. During the encounter with the subject, and after being shot in the face, my brother defended the third party subject and his own family by shooting multiple times at the subject (after being shot in the face) in attempt to save his own life and protect others. This senseless act of violence has caused permanent damage to my brother which will cause physical and mental anguish which he will have to endure for the remainder of his life. The whole incident should be overshadowed by my brothers bravery, his will to live, and protect the other subject and his own family. We are asking people in the community, friends of the family, and anyone else to please donate to him and his family for medical expenses he has accrued so far following this incident.
