Classrooms for Malawi

As Whitney Houston once sang “I believe the children are the future- teach them well and let them lead the way”. I couldn’t agree more, however unlike me many children in Malawi are unable to access the same level of education that I am privileged to have due to the poor infra structure and lack of funding that they are subjected to. I understand that Scotland has its own issues that need to be faced however this once in a lifetime opportunity with my school (Renfrew High) will give me the chance to see a greater picture of global issues and world suffering whilst also provide young people with the building and resources needed to grant them a quality education and thus a future for themselves and a key out of poverty. Our aimed project is one of a high school in the southern parts of Malawi that due to the severity of their situation the money needed has been unable to be raised in previous years. Thankfully they’ve held out hope and 2019 could be their year thanks to your donations. Your money will go towards the visas, vaccinations, accommodation and flights and any left over will be given to a larger fund that will pay for the resources needed to actually build the school. Any donations are greatly appreciated and every penny will count!
