Shimmy Mob Grand Forks 2014

Shimmy Mob is an international celebration of World Bellydance Day (2nd Saturday of May), where thousands of dancers perform the same dance at public venues all over the planet. The day celebrates the dance and our love for it, while sharing that appreciation with others who may not be familiar with the art form. At the same time we also want to bring awareness to a very critical issue in all communities: domestic violence. The bellydance community supports CVIC's mission and all funds raised will go to this great organization. The Grand Forks, ND team will be performing at the Grand Cities Mall on May 10 at noon, and also during a bellydance extravaganza at the Burtness Theatre at UND the same evening. Our aim is to raise awareness, and also funding for Community Violence Intervention Center Inc. Please help out our community and donate today!
