Funeral Expenses for David R Smith

One of our own in the NASCAR community has died and his family needs our help with funeral expenses. After battling cancer for 10 years, David R. Smith, former famed jackman and crew chief for the #3 GM Goodwrench Chevy, passed away on June 30th. His faithful wife Karen was by his side. David, a man of great faith, went to meet his Lord in Heaven. But, since David has been so sick for the past decade and Karen as been his caregiver, neither have been able to work. They've lived off social security and the generosity of friends. To bury David, Karen needs help. There's a very small life insurance policy, not enough to give him a decent burial. So, I'm asking that we all contribute a little. Together, we can help this family - a family that has been a member of our own racing family in some capacity for over 40 years. Rest in Peace David R.
